The Eroica, cycling competition carried out with old bikes, runs some of the most beautiful roads of Chianti Siena, Valdarbia and Valdorcia; But the most beautiful and difficult part is represented by those stretches of white roads, still viable in the Crete Senesi, which allow you to fully revive the atmosphere of the cycling of the era.
The LUNGO route is 205 km long and is entirely traced with road
signage, in collaboration with the Province of Siena and the
Tourist Agency of Siena.
Signposting consists of signposts, pointing to intersections and
mileage charts, indicating progressive mileage and distances to
reach the next inhabited centers.
Signposting also allows you to follow the MEDIUM course of 135
km. CORTO and CICLOTURISTIC Paths are not reported on a permanent
basis.
The notoriety of the event attracts cyclists and motorcyclists in
all seasons of the year, who, thanks to their permanent signage,
can try to make one of them in whole or in part.
The most appreciated trails are those of the white streets of
Valdorcia and Crete. The most well-known and frightened is the
stretch from Asciano to Torre a Castello, passing through Monte
Sante Marie, due to the well known extreme features of the track.
