It is an ancient village set in a stunning location, on a hill overlooking the Elsa valley, about 450 meters. The documents mention from 1077 when the noble Guinzano Rudolph bought a share of the castle, selling it to his wife Adalisa that less than 20 years later sold it. Later the ownership passed to the Ricasoli family in various letters that complain about the devastation to the passage of the imperialists in 1530. The castle is now a flourishing farm that produces wine and olive oil, owned by the family of the ancient and medieval fortification Daddi is still possible to find interesting items.
